Common faults
In actual operation, the Shotcrete Machine is prone to phenomena such as rotor blockage, discharge elbow blockage, and sandblasting pipe blockage.
Fault cause
1. Excessive particle size of aggregates;
2. The moisture content of the dry mix is too high;
3. The conveying airflow pressure is too low;
4. The cross-section of the air inlet duct is too small, and the air supply volume of the compressed air fan is small.
Solutions
Solution to Fault 1: If the material conveying pipe is blocked, the Shotcrete Machine should be stopped from rotating, the gas pipeline valve should be closed, the material conveying pipe should be removed from the elbow, the gas pipeline valve should be opened, and the stored material in the rotor should be blown out. Then check the feeding pipe, hit the blocked area with a wooden rod, loosen or empty the blocked material (note: before disassembling the discharge elbow or pipeline, the pressure in the feeding pipe should be reduced to 0), and then connect the feeding pipe to the elbow again. Blow it out with compressed air. If the conveying distance exceeds 40m, separate every 20m long pipeline should be treated;
Solution to Fault 2: Stop the Shotcrete Machine from rotating, close the air valve, and if the discharge elbow is blocked, the pipeline should be dismantled, the elbow and rotor material chamber should be cleaned, etc., to reduce the water cement ratio of the mixture;
Solution to Fault 3: Stop the motor and air supply pipeline. If the rotor is blocked, the inlet and upper air ducts should be disassembled, and the rotor material chamber should be cleaned with a brush;
Solution to Fault 4: Replace the large cross-section air duct and replace it with a large capacity compressed air fan.
