So, my friends know how to properly handle the jet surface of the gunite machine in the process of operation.
Firstly, the basic size of surrounding rock should be measured, and the outline of tunnel should be fairly smooth. The undercut part should be drilled and pumice should be removed. Then, the sludge dust and fine rock on the jet surface should be cleaned up by high pressure water or gas.
If there is leakage in tunnel, water source should be identified and drainage measures should be taken. If necessary, rock drill holes should be used to drain surrounding rock to prevent water between shotcrete and surrounding rock from hindering the bonding of concrete and delaying the increase of concrete strength.
